We are the Prismic to Framer migration experts

Challenges with Prismic

We have a long history with Prismic, and at one point, we were agency partners, so count us as biased. However, if you're anything like us, we've had an absolutely terrible experience with Prismic.

They've historically changed their API ad hoc, resulting in many broken websites, which is especially bad for an agency. They've dumped infrastructure on the community, resulting in expensive migration bills and client dissatisfaction and they've updated their system with no way to migrate other than to rebuild your entire website for literally years.

If you're having a hell of a time, we can help you move away and do it without breakages. We've had to migrate quite a few folks and we have a standardised process that lets us migrate images, videos, text and content structure to the platform of your choice.

Key Pain Points

  • Dependency on third-party hosting
  • Limited native integrations
  • Steep learning curve
  • Lack of built-in versioning
  • Escalating pricing model
  • Can be costly for small teams
  • Complex content management
  • Traffic-based pricing increase
  • Requires additional tools
  • Limited out-of-box features
  • Potential scalability issues
  • Technical expertise needed

Benefits of Framer

If you live in Figma all day, Framer is the right choice for you. You can import your layouts, tweak a few interactions, hit publish, and suddenly you’ve “built a website” without ever opening VS Code. The no-code editor is fast, the animations look like you actually care about UI, and the built-in hosting + global CDN means you never have to touch a server or pretend you know what an SSL certificate is.

Multiple people can jump in, rewrite copy, adjust layouts, and preview the site instantly in real time with zero handoff pain, and “can you push this to staging?” nonsense. The SEO defaults are strong, images automatically behave, and performance is fast without you having to obsess over Lighthouse scores.

Can't knock the service, but we're here when you're looking to build something more scalable.
